can anyone help me please? ive recently bought a second hane fun factor with the nt16 engine, when i got it i started it up and it ran fine a bit rich but nothing too bad, now it takes me ages to start it, it revs like mad and then stalls ive gone back to the base settings stripped everything down put it all back together and the same problem, can anyone suggest anything please?

my guess is its 1 of 3 thing, either a bad glow plug or an air leak ( seal the engine) or the piston sleeve needs to be pinched (its worn out but not garbage). I would start with changing the glow plug and if that don't help the take it apart to seal the backplate and the carb but before you seal the carb check the pinch in the sleeve. I'm sure theres a video on youtube on how to check the pinch. This is what i would do.
